About Wildifre Environmental

Natalie Atkinson is a senior ecologist and wildlife biologist. She is the principal owner of Wildfire Environmental. She holds a BSc of Science from the University of Toronto (UofT) and an Honors diploma in nursing (RPN) from Georgian College. She is certified as a Forest School Practitioner through the Child & Nature Alliance of Canada and is also pursuing her Master of Science (M.Sc.) through Royal Roads University.

Natalie Atkinson has 25 years of experience as a Restoration Ecologist, Wildlife Biologist, Species at Risk Biologist, Botanist, Wildlife Rehabilitator, and Tree Surveyor throughout Southern Ontario and British Columbia. She has extensive experience in biological field inventory and analysis studies that range from botany/vegetation, species at risk, soils, mammals, breeding birds, mist netting, frog call surveys, snake cover board surveys, bat surveys, and other herpetofauna. She retains expert knowledge of the flora and vegetation communities of southern and central Ontario and British Columbia and has conducted detailed surveys at hundreds of sites.
