Humanity has always been deeply connected to nature. It shapes us, nurtures us, and teaches us how to align our minds, bodies, and spirits with the world around us.
For children, this connection is especially important, fostering health, balance, and well-being that carries into adulthood. However, modern society has distanced us from nature, creating challenges that stem from this disconnection.
Wildfire Environmental aims to restore this bond through WildSparks, a program designed to help children rediscover their connection to the natural world. Based in Adjala-Tosorontio, ON, WildSparks offers accessible, forest-based learning experiences that blend outdoor play with exploration.
At the heart of WildSparks is the belief that time in nature is inherently therapeutic. By giving children the space to explore, we support their physical, emotional, and mental growth through unique sensory experiences.
Led by Nat Atkinson, a certified Forest and Nature School Practitioner, Wildfire Environmental is inspiring the next generation to embrace the natural world and all it has to offer.
